Last Tuesday, my group made a long trip in the hills west of Morgan Hill. We have traveled the Chesbro tank and to the open space of Rancho Canada del Oro at the end of Casa Loma Road. We returned along Uvas Road after the UVAS reservoir. It was a beautiful sunny but cold day, especially in the shade. A hot lunch in our local cold meats was appreciated later. One of our riding friends is struggling with a health challenge, so he could not ride with us for a few weeks, so we were delighted that he and his wife could join us at lunch.
It was also nice to participate on this subject and some other beautiful rides this week. The party is over for the next few days. We start the first of many consecutive rain storms aligned off the coast, a phenomenon called “atmospheric river”. This makes driving less pleasant, but precipitation will be welcome.
