Liverpool manager, Arne Slot, would be ready to make great changes to Anfield this summer, with up to five first team players for sale.
The Reds had a superb first season under the direction of Slot, the Dutch tactician working wonders with a team almost entirely inherited from his predecessor Jurgen Klopp.
However, there are perhaps signs of things that must be refreshed a little, and it seems that it could lead to Liverpool to unload a number of big names.
According to FichajesThe players who could be chopped by the location are: Diogo Jota, Harvey Elliott, Wataru Endo, Federico Chiesa and Caoimhin Kelleher.
Liverpool fans might not be fully satisfied with all those players who leave, with Jota and Elliott may still be able to offer something as team players for the Merseyside giants.
Liverpool to unload five during a revision of the major transfer?
However, for a combination of reasons, it seems that it is logical for LFC to cut links with these players, Chiesa proved to be a real disappointment since he joined last summer.
Meanwhile, Kelleher did well when he is called, but he will never be the first choice, so it is logical to move it.
There will certainly be no shortage of contenders for some of these players, with Endo and Kelleher more than capable of offering something to most of the Premier League teams.
Jota’s injury record could mean that clubs hesitate to play on him, while Chiesa’s lack of impact in Anfield could also make the suitors think twice.
It will be interesting to see how this story develops and if specific teams are starting to be linked to these players.
