The Emirates Stadium welcomes an All-London affair in the Premier League on Sunday, on Sunday, while Arsenal will face the four best hopes of Chelsea.
Mikel Arteta’s artillerymen appreciated their recent duels with the Blues, although they were held at one point by the Enzo Maresca team in November. A distance from Pedro Neto remotely canceled the opening of Gabriel Martinelli.
This competition arrived before Chelsea embarked on a stellar race which briefly saw them considered as contenders for the title. They have been brought back to earth in the past two months, with a place in the Champions League next season their main objective for the rest of 2024/25.
After winning consecutive championship matches, Chelsea is fourth with 49 points. These are six points on Arsenal in second position, the Gunners extending their race without a victory in the league with three games last week when they were held in a 1-1 draw in Manchester United.
Their deficit for Liverpool championship chiefs is 15 points with only nine games to play after this weekend. However, they stay in the Champions League and surely prioritize their quarter -final with Real Madrid next month.
Here is 90 minutes Sunday’s London Derby Guide.

Arteta made big changes for the second stage of Wednesday against the PSV, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Raheem Sterling both impressive on rare departures. Sterling, however, cannot appear against his parent club this weekend.
Gabriel Martinelli could make his first departure in more than a month, while Martin Odegaard and Thomas Parte should return to the Arsenal midfielder. Jurrien Timber is expected to return to the Gunners’ background after taking advantage of a respite in the middle of the week.
Gabriel Jesus, Kai Havertz, Bukayo Saka and Takehiro Tomiyasu remain out of action.
Arsenal predict the VS Chelsea programming (4-3-3): Raya; Title, Saliba, Gabriel, Lewis-Skelly; Party, Rice, Odegaard; Nwaneri, Merino, Martinelli.
Chelsea was recently stimulated by the return of Wesley Fofana from injury, and the French should associate Levi Colwill, who did not appear on Thursday at the Emirates.
Cole Palmer, Marc Cucurella, Robert Sanchez and Reece James are all ready for returns in the Maresca team.
The blues are still without Nicolas Jackson and Noni Madueke, with Pedro Neto likely to lead the visitors line again. Christopher Nkunku is an alternative. David Datro Fofana, Marc Guiu and Malo Gusto are likely to miss.
Chelsea predicted the vs arsenal programming (4-2-3-1): Sanchez; James, Fofana, Colwill, Cucurella; Caicedo, Fernandez; Palmer, Nkunku, Sancho; Neto.
Arteta and Maresca have shot in the middle of the week, so the two starting xis should be quite fresh. While Arsenal continues to fight for objectives at the national level, they are faced with a Chelsea team with a recent bad record in this match.
The Gunners have an alternative attack option available in Martinelli, and although the blues won four on the rebound, the supporters are struggling with Maresca and its rather banal style. With Palmer in all kinds and Jackson has sidelined, visitors are unlikely to cause too much damage, but the own third arsenal misfortune means a beat – like 5-0 of last season – should not happen.
A competitive and tight affair at the Emirates could be bordered by the hosts.
