Liverpool manager Arne Slot said that his team still has work to do while he was preparing to win the title of Premier League at home in Tottenham on Sunday.
A point of their five remaining games will guarantee a victory for the 20th high flight title for the Reds – and a first since the 2019-20 season.
Slot said: “It is a great responsibility. We are aware that the last time this club won the league was during the cocovid period. So everyone is looking forward to Sunday.
“But we know there is still a job to do. We need at least one point.
You can almost touch it, @LFC fans 🏆

“This is what we know and, hope it, what our fans also know when they come to the stadium that they support us in the best possible way as they have done all season, but also be aware of the fact that we still need a point.
“It is a nice match to hope but also a responsibility we have for Sunday.”
Slot will become the 12th manager to win the Premier League if he will finish work this weekend.
Jurgen Klopp is the only other Liverpool director to manage it, ending a 30 -year expectation for the title in 2020.
But Slot says that Sunday will be difficult, despite the poor national season of Tottenham.
He said: “There is a game to play against a Tottenham team who plays something special – not in the League Europa and they will want to prepare for the best possible way.
“We are only focusing on the next opponent as always, and it’s Tottenham now. So we will try to prepare the team as we have done all season.
“I hope that players will be able to bring the same energy and the same mentality that they have brought throughout the season.
“And we expect fans to the same thing.”
