Recently, Hogan and Eric Bischoff have announced a new Freestyle wrestling league. The promotional package has returned to NWO days, when the duo disrupted the wrestling activity. They also talked about a mysterious third man who would join them.
This week on The outlaws of struggleRusso explained that Hulk Hogan had a similar promotion when he signed up with Tna Wrestling. He recalled that the Hulkster wanted to bring back the Monday evening wars with TNA, but failed miserably.
“Hogan said it was going to be bigger than WWE. I look at Hogan on this thing and I am like, my brother, he did the same thing when he signed with Tna. He did Larry King, he did the whole Talk-show circuit. Tna was going to be this, and the other.” [8:41 onwards]
Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff worked together at WCW, WWE and TNA. It will be interesting to see if their new business can give rigid competition to existing players like WWE and AEW.
