Edward “Big Balls” Coristine, one of the first young technologists brought to the so-called Ministry of Government (DOGE) of Elon Musk, returned to government shortly after resignation.
“Edward Coristine joined the Social Security Administration this week as an employee of the Special Government,” said Stephen McGraw, a spokesman for the SSA, in Wired. “His work will focus on improving the features of the Social Security website and the progression of our mission to provide more effective service to the American people.”
Several SSA sources have told Wired that Coristine appeared in person to work on site at the agency’s headquarters in Woodlawn, Maryland. An SSA employee says he saw Coristine with the engineer Doge Aram Moghaddassi, an X and a former neurralink employee deployed to the agency. The couple was spotted at the SSA cafeteria as recently as on Monday, although it is not clear what day this week, the employment of Coristine officially started. “Coristine looked nervous, almost embarrassed,” said the SSA source. “Aram was on the phone with someone … Then said:” Yes, I’m with him right now “, making a gesture towards big bullets.”
Coristine and Moghaddassi did not immediately respond to requests for comments.
Coristine’s warm -up comes after a White House manager said on Tuesday that the 19 -year -old had resigned from his post to the government. A Trump administration official confirms to Wired that Coristine actually resigned on Monday, then was brought back by the SSa later in the week.
Coristine has become a full-time government employee at the General Services Administration (GSA) on May 30, Wired earlier this month, converting the special classification of the Special Government, which has a time limit of 130 days. Tuesday afternoon, Coristine’s Google Workspace account with the GSA had been handicapped and its name was not on a list of Doge employees on the federal wage bill maintained by a senior administration official. The GSA has not responded to several requests for comments.
Coristine was one of a handful of DOGE engineers who have worked in many government agencies, including the staff management office, the Ministry of Health and Social Services, the American Agency for International Development, the State Department and the Ministry of Homeland Security, among others. Coristine is not known to have worked before SSA.
A 19 -year -old graduate at the school who has worked at Musk’s Neuralink for several months, Coristine has gone through the online “Big Balls” Channel and joined the government without previous experience. He also founded a company called Tesla.sexy LLC in 2021 and worked for a startup known for hiring Blackhat pirates; He was would have licensed after being suspected of having disclosed internal information.
Sahil Lavingia, a former DOGE member who has been cabled for the first time in the Affairs Affairs Department, told Wired that “I had the impression that there was no real link in addition to Elon in the White House.” Speaking on a fully-duge meeting with Musk held in March, Lavingia says: “The only person in the White House was Katie Miller.” Miller left the White House with Musk and is now working for the centillionaire.
Richard Pierce, professor of law at George Washington University, told Wired that the White House not knowing that a recently deceased employee had been rehired was “abnormal, but that seems normal for this administration”.
