Today’s mini crossword wasn’t very difficult, but it contained one of those double clues that I hate, where they tell you, for example, that 7-Across is an “adjective associated with 3-Down in a comparison. That’s awesome, New York Times puzzle makers, if only I already knew what 3-Down was. WHAT I DON’T DO. So I leave blanks, go back and forth, and eventually everything fills in.
