You can look back at our CES 2025 Day 1 and CES 2025 Day 2 recaps for all the major gadgets and gadgets revealed so far, and on Day 3 we continue the theme. Below you’ll find crazy E-ink digital posters, laptops with rolling screens, AI systems for your automobile and much more.
The usual CES caveats apply: Many of these products are still in concept or early development, so you may not be able to get your hands on one right away. However, they all point to an exciting 2025 for anyone interested in technology. So sit back and let us guide you through the 11 most beautiful things we saw on day three of CES 2025…
1. Lenovo Thinkbook Plus Gen 6 Rollable
- Best Feature: The rollable screen… of course
Forget foldable phones – what about rollable laptop screens? That’s the era we’re officially in now, thanks to Lenovo’s ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable. With the press of a button, the screen can expand from the usual 14 inches to an impressive 16.7 inches when you need extra vertical space to work.
It’s also a very decent laptop, aside from the main party trick: you get an Intel Core Ultra 200V processor, up to 32GB of RAM, and up to 1TB of SSD storage , so you will be able to get serious. calculation carried out on it. The laptop will apparently go on sale this year, although we’re still waiting on a price…
2. PocketBook Ink Poster
- Best Feature: That glorious E Ink screen
The PocketBook InkPoster is exactly the kind of gadget CES is talking about: sleek, innovative, desirable technology that’s expensive but will impress everyone who sees it. This is a premium digital art display, allowing you to continually edit the artwork displayed on your walls.
As the panel uses E Ink technology, the power requirements are much lower than a standard display – and it also makes the art look more traditional and authentic. Three different sizes will be available throughout the year, although you may have to do some saving to be able to afford one – prices start at $599 (around £485 / AU$970), rising to four. numbers.
3. Kanto UKI Bookshelf Speakers
- Best Feature: It’s a mix between looks and price.
If you’re looking for incredibly cute bookshelf speakers that won’t break the bank, then the new Kanto UKI might be for you.
We haven’t managed to listen to them at CES 2025 yet, but if the UKI speakers sound half as good as the company’s excellent Ren speakers, we’ll be very big fans of them indeed.
Although you can’t buy them yet (the only ones at CES are prototypes), they will launch in the second half of 2025 for just $199/£199 (around AU$319.99). On paper, it’s a great deal – and you also have the choice of stunning black, white, cobalt and sage colors.
4. KaraPod
- Best Feature: No need to add water
We’ve seen a lot of coffee machines at TechRadar, but the KaraPod still managed to catch our eye: its unique selling point is how it works as both a dehumidifier and a coffee maker, using condensed water which she collects for your drinks. A nice eco-friendly idea? Or just a little weird?
According to the team behind the KaraPod, this is all perfectly safe, although your coffee may taste quite different. There’s certainly a certain appeal in a coffee machine that never needs to refill its water tank, and the device won’t cost you too much either – it’ll soon be available directly from Karawater.
5. Razer Blade 16
- Best Feature: Top-notch Nvidia graphics power
The Nvidia RTX 5090 is now official (see yesterday’s CES news), which means laptops with the integrated GPU can be revealed – like the Razer Blade 16, for example. This is an absolute beast of a gaming laptop, boasting the aforementioned graphics as well as the top-of-the-line AMD AI 9 HX 370 processor.
This being a Razer laptop, we expect impeccable build quality, and the Blade 16 also comes with a high-resolution 240Hz OLED display as well as a new vapor chamber cooling system. We’re still waiting to hear how much it costs, but it should be up and available for purchase before the end of March.
6. 4D Nanosheet V2
- Best Feature: Easy to attach to any TV
Nanoleaf takes on the Philips Ambilight system again with a smart light that changes color and adapts to whatever is displayed on your TV. Say hello to the Nanoleaf 4D V2, which combines a small camera (for looking at your TV screen) with a flexible light strip that fits around the back of your big screen.
From what we saw of the product at CES 2025, it should be easier to install than most other systems of this type, as there are no fiddly adhesive backings to deal with – the strip simply attaches directly on the back of your TV. It will arrive later this year and we hope it will be priced similarly to the original Nanoleaf 4D.
7. Asus ROG Strix Scar
- Best Feature: Tool-free upgrades for more storage
Asus gave us a slew of new laptops at CES 2025, and the ROG Strix Scar models are particularly notable: the 16- and 18-inch laptops bring with them next-gen Intel and Nvidia parts (up to an RTX 5090 for graphics), while also benefiting from up to 64 GB of RAM and up to 2 TB of SSD storage space on board.
Add in 2.5K mini-LED displays (with 3ms response times and 240Hz refresh rates), plus tool-less upgrades for the SSD if you ever need them, and it’s a truly impressive package – and undoubtedly expensive, when prices are set. official. These laptops will cope with absolutely everything and more.
8. Swann Xtreem4K
- Best Feature: AI defends your home
We’re all for AI when it adds truly useful features, and that’s the case with the new Swann Xtreem4K, one of several new home security tech products Swann is showing off at CES 2025. incorporates an AI assistant, which can fend off intruders or welcome guests on your behalf.
The idea is that the device is smart enough to recognize whether the people it detects are friends or foes and respond accordingly, even if you’re not there. The impressive-looking camera works wirelessly, offers three months between battery charges, and gives you full-color 4K video streaming day and night.
9. BMW Panoramic iDrive
- Best Feature: Super smart full-screen aesthetic
BMW took the opportunity at CES 2025 to showcase its next-generation iDrive system for 2025 – and there’s a lot of screen time here. The new full-width head-up display stretches from pillar to pillar in front of the driver, displaying just about every information you could want to know while you’re on the road.
Its full title is BMW Panoramic iDrive, and it will appear first in the Neue Klasse X electric SUV (and in all BMW cars in the future). BMW has also upgraded the operating system that underpins its in-car offering, and there will be plenty of customization options to play with when you get behind the wheel. On the other hand, fans of physical buttons might be less impressed.
10. Panasonic Z95B OLED TV
- Best Feature: The brightest OLED TV yet
TVs always hold an important place in the history of any CES, and this year’s event is no different. One of the highlights this year is Panasonic’s new Z95B OLED, which features a next-generation display stack and cooling system to offer a notable improvement over the Panasonic Z95A OLED (which was already fantastic).
One of the benefits of having the TechRadar team at the Las Vegas show is that we can get an in-person look at the hottest tech launch of 2025 – and based on our first experiences of the Z95B, this will establish a new standard for OLED TV technology, whenever Panasonic decides to put it on sale.
11. Honda 0 series SUV and sedan
- Best Feature: Lighter, sleeker designs
Honda is also making a name for itself at CES 2025, introducing a bold lineup of new electric vehicles including the 0 Series SUV and sedan. These engines bring with them dramatic curves, as well as tweaked headlight designs and new paint jobs compared to what we saw on previous prototypes.
These cars are based on Honda’s new “Thin, Light and Wise” philosophy, which promises to result in lighter, sleeker electric vehicles than we currently have. Unfortunately, it will be some time before we can drive these automobiles ourselves, as their full launch is planned for 2026.
