Israel says that the next captive release will take place on Thursday, followed from another Saturday.
Israel says that a list of Hamas shows that eight of the 33 captives to publish in the first phase of the Gaza ceasefire agreement are dead.
Government spokesman David Mencer told journalists on Monday that Hamas said the other 25 were alive. Israel during the night said he had received an information list on the status of Hamas captives.
“Families have been informed of the situation of their relatives,” said leaving, without providing the names of the deceased.

About 90 captives are still in progress. Before this announcement, Israel thought that at least 35 of them died.
The truce agreement in the conflict of Israel-Hamas, announced earlier in January after months of unsuccessful negotiations, took vigor on January 19, which arrested more than 15 months of devastating war on Gaza triggered by the attacks led by Hamas of Hamas 2023.
Under the first phase of the agreement, 33 captives held in Gaza must be released in exchange for more than 1,900 Palestinians held by Israel.
Seven Israeli women have been released since the start of the truce, just like 290 Palestinian prisoners.
Two Israeli women, Arbel Yehud and Agam Berger, will have to be released Thursday with an unidentified captive, following negotiations between Hamas and Israel.
On Sunday evening, their upcoming version was announced by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as part of the truce agreement with Hamas.
According to Israel, Arbel Yehud, as a woman and civilian, should have been released last Saturday during the second exchange of prisoners from the cease-fire agreement.
When she did not appear, the Israeli government accused Hamas of having violated the agreement and, in retaliation, prevented the displaced Palestinians from returning north of Gaza.
Hamas accused Israel of having violated the ceasefire and said that it had informed the mediators that Yehud was alive and gave guarantees for his release.
On Monday, after Hamas’ commitment to release Yehud and other captives this week, the blocking was lifted.
Consequently, hundreds of thousands of Palestinians moved to Gaza began to return to the houses destroyed in the north of the Gaza Strip later on Monday for the start of the devastating war.
The United Nations said that more than 200,000 people were observed to move north to Gaza only on Monday morning.
According to UN data, approximately two thirds of all Gaza buildings have been destroyed or seriously damaged during the conflict, and around 90% of the 2.1 million residents of Gaza were moved.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza managed by Hamas said on Monday that the number of deaths of the War of Israel against Gaza had reached 47,317, the figures increasing despite the ceasefire while new organs are found under the rubble.
The ministry said that the Gaza Strip has received 11 bodies in the last 24 hours – nine bodies recovered after the truce and two new deaths. He did not specify how the new deaths occurred.
The ministry said the Israeli attacks also injured at least 111,494 people.
At least 1,139 people were killed in Israel during the attacks led by Hamas on October 7, 2023 and more than 200 captives.
