At the Legacy of Freedom Gala, Carter shared it all with Charrise Lanestudent at Florida A&M University. Lane explained that Trump’s “values” match his own.
“…Like being pro-life, like the Second Amendment – upholding family values – those things align with my values. That’s why I voted for him. she explained.
Additionally, Carter spoke with Necho Carrollthe vice president of the Black Conservative Federation. Caroll explained that Trump represents how he and his community want to live their lives “moving forward as Americans.”
Congressman Byron Donalds weighs in with Waka Flocka Flame
Among them, Florida Congressman Byron Donalds stepped in to share that despite his campaign work for Trump, he doesn’t feel “aggrieved” about not being chosen to serve in his cabinet. Instead, Donald says, he might have his eyes set on another government position.
But Donalds wasn’t the only public figure to intervene. Flame Waka Flocka stepped in to weigh in on viral rumors that the 47th president had eliminated child support — which turned out to be false. Additionally, Carter also spoke with two federal employees who shared their thoughts on Trump’s stance on diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.
