Chipotle Mexico Grill seeks to hire more workers before the “Burrito season” – and it adopts artificial intelligence tools (AI) to help rationalize the process.
On Wednesday, the company announced the hiring initiative, aimed at bringing 20,000 more workers for the arrival of its “busiest period of the year”.
Human resources director Ilene Eskenazi said that job opportunities offer candidates for “candidates with the opportunity to start here, stay here and achieve their career objectives with us”.
“As the members of the current team have demonstrated it, our restaurants can be the foundation of a fulfilling career and we are committed to bringing the best candidates who share our values and integrate them as effectively as possible,” she added.

This member of the virtual team increased the flow of the Chipotle candidate to almost double and brought the average deadline for an applicant who jumped in his role after submitting his eight -day request to four, according to the company.

Chipotle said that AVA Cado’s abilities include speaking with candidates, answering their questions about chipotle, collecting basic information, planning interviews for job managers and sending offers to candidates selected by managers.

The company’s AI technology stems from a partnership with Paradox, a collaboration launched in the fall of last year.

Eskenazi said at the time that paradox technology “worked as if we had hired additional administrative support for all our restaurants, by freeing up more time for managers to support team members and offer exceptional guest experience” .
Chipotle adds the “favorite fans” menu for a limited period
More than 130,500 people worked for chipotle at the end of 2024, according to the company’s annual report. His workforce in America includes around 126,200 catering employees and nearly 1,600 people in leadership leadership roles for restaurants.
The company is looking to extend to 7,000 North American restaurants. It currently has more than 3,700 locations in seven countries.
