Steve Bannon, former assistant to American president Donald Trump, launched a scathing attack on Elon Musk, calling him “parasitic illegal immigrant” in a recent interview. And its growing influence in American politics.
Addressing British News Out Alerd, Bannon accused Musk of having pushed radical ideas, declaring: “Musk wants to impose his bizarre experiences and his acts of play like God without any respect for history, values or traditions of the country. “
Bannon, a key figure in Trump’s political movement, positioned itself as Musk’s most vocal critic, saying that Tesla CEO and SpaceX is more dangerous than left -wing political figures. Musc, born in South Africa, has become an aggressive critic of undocumented immigrants.
Bannon also alleged that Musk had exceeded his visa while building his commercial empire in the United States – an accusation he denied.
Despite the tensions spent with Trump, Musk has become an influential figure of the administration, playing a key role in implementing decrees and budget cuts. His growing political weight made him a target for Democrats and Trump’s criticisms, moving part of the former president’s attention.
Bannon has recognized Musk’s efficiency but criticized his priorities, saying: “The president uses it as a shelling of armor against the administrative state, but Musk’s work is more performative than the substance.”
Musk largely ignored the repeated attacks of Bannon, but recently responded on X (formerly Twitter) with a disdainful article: “Bannon is a big speaker, but not a big doing. What he did this week ? Nothing.”
