Google has Updated THE Web page For his team responsible for AI and technology centered on man (RAI-HCT), the team responsible for carrying out research on security, equity and explanation of AI on the mentions of “diversity” and “equity”.
A previous version of the page used a language such as “marginalized communities”, “diverse”, “under-represented groups” and “equity” to describe the work of the Rai-HCT team. This language has been removed, or in some cases replaced by a less specific wording (for example, “all”, “varied” and “numerous” rather than “various”)
Google did not immediately respond to a request for comments.

The modifications, which were identified by the surveillance group, the Midas project, intervene after Google has deleted a similar language from its subsidy website of the founders of startups. The company declared in early February that it would eliminate its objectives of hiring of diversity and would examine its programs of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI).
Google is among the many large technological companies that have made DEI initiatives go back while the Trump administration targets what it characterizes as “illegal“Practical.
