Volodymyr Zelenskyy does not seem to understand that the offer of minerals and mining agree by President Donald Trump is, in fact, a giant stage towards the security of Ukraine. I call it the tripwire effect.
Think about it this way. American companies will enter Ukraine and open drilling, excavation and extraction operations for rare earthly minerals, precious metals, oil and gas, etc. And they will come to build infrastructure in various geographic places across the country.
American companies will therefore put their boots in the field. These are not American military boots on the ground. They would be corporate boots in the private sector in the field. But they will nevertheless bring with them large -scale security.
The exploitation and excavation for minerals are not very operational. It is a very big problem. It is conceivable that thousands of Americans would move to make all kinds of jobs, whether administrative or engineers on the ground.
Consider it as rigors of petroleum patches, as in the Permian basin, something right away from the TV show Landman.
Now, I call it a “trip-fil” because if the Russians are starting to ride in tanks or start to bomb these American operations, then all of the world hell will stand out and Russia would then attack the Americans.
And I don’t think they want this kind of climbing. I do not think that Russian president Vladimir Putin wants something from a distance near the idea of attacking and killing Americans.
The Greg Steube representatives, R-Fla., And Kevin Hern, R-Okla., Discuss the flying tensions between the United States and Ukraine on “Kudlow”.
It is a bit like the president Dwight D. Eisenhower after the moving of American families and companies of the Second World War in Europe, alongside our post-war military bases. The former Soviet Communists may have spoken big, but they did not want to start bombing Americans, whether civil families or military families. This American population in post-war Europe was a “tripwire” of the Cold War.
According to the Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Zelenskyy has not signed the mineral agreement now three times. Once in Kyiv, where, according to Bessent, the Ukrainian chief was very rude during the meetings. Once in Munich, after telling Bessent that he would sign the agreement there. And now last Friday in Washington.
It is possible that Zelenskyy may just be an ordinary head without manners and without respect for the oval office in the American white house with President Trump.
When Zelenskyy exploded on Friday, this hostility towards America was clearly exposed so that everyone could see it.
Without forgetting that American voters are firmly behind President Trump on this subject. The latest poll by Harvard-Harris survey, Mark Penn shows that 60% of Americans are favorable to the holding of direct peace talks with Russia, and 72% want Ukraine to negotiate the end of the war. Only 28% support Zelenskyy’s plan, as it appears mainly now, to continue to fight without a view.
Senator Eric Schmitt, R-MO., Said President Donald Trump can give birth to peace in the midst of the Russian-Ukraine war on “Kudlow”.
But Trump offers him an incredible outcome.
Yes, the United States can recover some of its war expenses in Ukraine.
But, in the longer term, the whole economy of Ukraine will be reopened, and its assets will be monetized in a way that will be of an incalculable advantage.
It’s like Trump offers Zelenskyy a future, but he won’t take it. Instead, he continues to collapse against ceasefies without security guarantee, while in fact Trump offers him the best Ukraine possible security guarantee could hope at this stage.
But Mr. Trump and his best advisers are concerned about something that is almost inconceivable – That Zelenskyy, in reality, does not really want a peace agreement, and that brutal fights with hundreds of thousands, even millions of people killed and injured, will continue for years. And that will really bring us closer to the Second World War.
