It should be a summer of upheavals in Manchester United.
The club has again underperformed this season and will resume a premier League action next week in 13th place with the Europa League the main objective of the remaining weeks.
And then the real work will start while Ruben Amorim and the club recruitment team – led by the technical director Jason Wilcox – will try to revise an inflated team and keep the club within the narrow limits of PSR regulations.
It is an act of balance which depends largely on the sales of the players. The Manchester Eventing News recently reported that United hoped to lose at least 10 players this summer, including high wages Marcus Rashford, Casemiro and Antony.
Rashford will not run out of contenders, even if Aston Villa does not take their option to make his loan agreement permanent, while Antony’s loan of loan to Real Betis showed that he was a better player than the one who failed Old Trafford.
If United can move part of the dead wood, this would leave a room for maneuver to bring new players.
Here we describe what a good summer window could mean for United.
Goalkeepers
In an ideal world, Amorim would like to evolve on Andre Onana, subject to errors, and there is an interest in the Saudi Pro League in Cameroon.
Altay Bayindir’s safeguard is impatient to continue his career elsewhere and the veteran Tom Heaton should retire so that United may require at least two new shooting strokes.
Senne Lammens d’Antvers and Guillaume’s Guillaume de Toulouse was mentioned as targets with the first Manchester City and Newcastle, also interesting. A cheap number two would also be necessary.
Defense
Amorim’s preference for 3-4-2-1 training, and the expected departures of Jonny Evans and Victor Lindelof mean that a central defender is a priority. On the positive side, Leny Yoro and Lisandro Martinez hope the seasons without injury while Ayden Heaven’s rapid rise in restraint of the first team means that United must probably sign a more semi-center. They were linked to the international of Türkiye Yusuf Akcicek who plays under Jose Mourinho in Fenerbahce.
In the positions of the wings, the signature of Patrick Dorgu has solved the long -standing problem on the left side. They would be even stronger if Luke Shaw’s bad luck with injuries ended.
The right slit could be taken by Diogo Dalot, who remains one of United’s most coherent artists.

Midfielder
Where to start?
Christian Eriksen and Casemiro are likely to leave while Kobbie Mainoo’s career has stalled due to an injury.
United needs at least another defensive midfielder alongside Mainoo and Manuel Ugarte. Jobe Bellingham corresponds to the profile of the type of player than United Target, a talented teenager who can develop under Amorim. Sunderland would probably be sold for something more than 30 million pounds sterling, although it may depend on whether the carriers can get a promotion this season. Bellingham already has physical stature to face the rigors of Premier League football.
Amorim plays with two narrow numbers, and it is logical that Bruno Fernandes occupies one of these slots. Portuguese figures speak for themselves and a more advanced role would suit him perfectly.
Beside him, United should target Marco Asensio. International Spain has prospered on loan to villa, but there is no automatic clause to make the agreement permanent, allowing United to go.
Attackers
For all the speeches on the withdrawal of Amorim with Viktor Gyoking of Sporting CP, there is only one man that United should target this summer and it is Victor Osimhen.
The Nigerian international was sent on loan to Galatasaray after Chelsea did not conclude an agreement with Napoli on the limit.
Osimhen would add physicality, pace and finishing capacity to a plain side that lacked a new number appropriate this season. It would not be cheap but, at 26, would arrive at its peak.

Team players
Amorim would probably prefer to sell Joshua Zirkzee and Alejandro Garnacho – and probably Rasmus Hojlund – but finding a buyer can be difficult.
The versatility of Amad Diallo is useful while Mason Mount could be like a new signature if it can finally prove its physical shape.
Matthijs de Ligt and Ussair Mazraoui can provide defensive coverage.
Potential United XI:
Lammens; Maguire, Yoro, Akcicek; Dalot, Dorgu; Mainooo, Bellingham; Fernandes, Asensio; Osimhen
