On the same day, a Mumbai family court granted his divorce from the cricket player Yuzvendra Chahal, the choreographer and influencer Dhanashree Verma published a new striking clip entitled Dekha Ji Dekha Maine. The song, which presents Verma as a woman betrayed by her husband, explores the themes of domestic violence and infidelity.
Supported by the T series of Bhushan Kumar, the song is sung by Jyoti Nooran and composed by Jaani, who also wrote the lyrics. The deep cut lines: “Dekha Ji Dekha Maine, Apno Ka Rona Dekha. Gairon ke bistar pe, apno ka sona dekha. ” (I saw my own people cry. I saw my own sharing of a bed with others.)
Located at Rajasthan, the video presents Verma alongside the actor of Pataal Lok Ishwak Singh. They represent a royal couple, with scenes that represent marital abuses, including a slap delivered by the husband before the others, and the infidelity shown without restraint.

In a press release, Verma described the project as one of its most emotionally demanding roles: “It was one of the most emotional performances in which I was a part … It demanded a certain level of intensity … I hope it resonates just as deep with the public.”
The liberation of the video coincided with the finalization of the divorce of Verma de Chahal, to whom she has married since December 2020. As part of the regulation, the cricket player agreed to pay 4.75 crores of ₹ in the alimony.
