Hello wired subscribers! Thank you to everyone who attended our latest webinar unlocked from AI. I really appreciated our animated discussion on the software features of Chatgpt and I would have liked to answer your questions even more about the use of generative AI tools.
I really enjoyed the questions about what Chatgpt can do beyond the simple cat. The search for images is a functionality that I often use, and here are my first impressions of the tool that I recorded in September 2023 during its first abandonment. I use the chatgpt image search tool these days by taking a photo with my phone when I don’t recognize something. I will download the screenshot and ask the chatbot of what it is. For example, I was recently in an Irish bar and learned what a Hurley It was when I saw a hanging on the wall and was perplexed. (Although I could also have asked the sympathetic barmans when I had another coffee drink.)
What are the features of Chatppt on which I could not go deep during the 45 -minute session? Two come to mind: cats and temporary memory.
Temporary cats keep things a little more private. For example, the Conversation Journal will not appear on the left side of your screen when it is finished as it does normally. Temporary cats are not sufficiently protected for you to feel comfortable sharing private information, which still does not do it, but it is a good option for cats you don’t necessarily need or want to record for your own use later.
The chatgpt memory function has improved over time. Although some information about you are passively stored when using the tool (unless you turn it off in the settings), I think you actively get involved in chatgpt memory saying that your preferences lead to better software experience overall.
What are the disadvantages of Chatgpt? There are three that I want to emphasize here. These are all problems that I keep in mind because I use any AI tool, and I think you should also.
