Bronny James’ recruit season was filled with ups and downs. He saw a minimum of minutes on the field, JJ Redick playing him mainly in the dying minutes of a match. It collected an average of 2.3 points, 0.7 rebounds and 0.8 assists on 31.3% shot in the field.
The 20-year-old was also sent to play for the Lakers G-League affiliates, South Bay Lakers, where he excelled in most games. However, Bronny still looked dull in the games he played in the NBA.
On the other hand, Cooper Flagg will enter his recruit season after having led the Duke Blue Devils in the Final Four of the NCAA 2024-25 tournament.
Cooper Flagg reveals his reflections on the writing of the first choice
The Dallas Mavericks beat all the chances in the NBA recovery lottery on May 12 by winning the first choice, and without thinking, they wrote Cooper Flagg as the first choice of the NBA 2025 draft.
After his project, Flagg participated in a brief interview with the project cover team. During a segment, one of the panelists asked Mavs’ recruit of the most special part of the night for him. He said:
“I just heard my name called, sharing this moment with my mother, my father and my two brothers. This is a moment that I will remember for the rest of my life.” (0:40)
Later, another panelist asked Cooper Flagg for his reflections on the writing of his Blue Devils teammates. Flagg said that it was an incredible feeling to see his teammates being drafted, since he saw the work they put in their profession.
