Ripplex, which supports the developers of the XRP Ledger, has Published version 2.5.0 of “Rippled”, its network’s reference implementation.
The new version is delivered with a chain of amendments that widen the features and governance tools of the network. The new amendments are now open to the vote according to the amendment process of the XRP Ledger, which allows changes in protocol after two weeks of support of more than 80% of confidence validators.
The seven amendments include “Tokenescrow”, which allows a sequestration for Iou and versatile tokens, “lot”, allowing the atomic execution of group transactions; And “permissions”, which allows operators DEX to control participation for regulatory compliance.
The AMMV1_3 amendment introduces invariant checks for automated market manufacturers, tightening risk management in the protocol. (This upgrade adds a security check to ensure that it does not break any important rule when managing money.)
Two long -term corrects – EnforcenftolnentrustlineV2 and Paychancancelafter – Patch Facols around NFT and expired payment channels. One guarantees that NFTs cannot be sent to people who are not allowed to receive them, while the other prevents old payment channels from being inadvertently created after their expiration date.
The version also improves the logic of the transaction relay, the network’s capacity of network and the precision of multi-signature simulation, while integrating XRPL commons as a new Bootstrap cluster.
Ripplex asked the validators to go to the latest version as soon as possible to ensure the continuity of the service.
The update ends while XRPL continues to become a more flexible and aware of the authorization led by DEFI use cases and business developers concerned with compliance.
