Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is in Paris on Monday for a world summit on artificial intelligence because US President Donald Trump is expected to announce steel and aluminum rates in Canada.
Trump said on Sunday that he will officially announce prices of 25% on Monday on all steel and aluminum imports, including Canada.
In an interview with Fox News, Trump also said that he wanted to see Canada become an American state, after being asked about Trudeau’s comments on Friday in which Trudeau told a group of business leaders that Trump is not kidding not.

US vice-president JD VANCE is also in Paris for the AI action summit, which begins on Monday.
It is not known if the two will come together, because no meeting has been announced to date.
Canada and Mexico have obtained at least 30 days of wide -based Trump -based pricing threats made last week.
