Brentford refused an improved Manchester United transfer offer for the Cameroon Bryan Mbeumo International.
United’s latest proposal is up to 62.5 million pounds sterling, made up of 55 million pounds sterling in advance and 7.5 million additional pounds in additional performance -based modules.
This follows a previous offer of 45 million pounds sterling plus 10 million pounds sterling in potential premiums, which was also rejected earlier this month.
The giants of the Premier League aim to strengthen their attack options, having already obtained Matheus Cunha de Wolves for 62.5 million pounds sterling. However, Brentford would be held from the similar guaranteed costs before considering separating from their star attacker, who remains only one year on his current contract.
Mbeumo, 25, took advantage of an out -of -competition campaign last season, scoring a personal record of 20 goals and adding nine assists.
His performances attracted the attention of several clubs, including Tottenham, where the new manager Thomas Frank, formerly responsible for Brentford, is printed for a meeting.

In addition, the clubs of the Champions League through Europe monitor the winger’s situation.
If he moves to Old Trafford, Mbeumo would find his teammate from Cameroon and the goalkeeper United Andre Onana.
However, any club signs will have to plan its absence during the African Cup of Nations, which starts in December. Cameroon will face Gabon during its opening match on December 24, which means that Mbeumo could be unavailable for up to four weeks of the 2025-26 season.
Mbeumo initially joined Brentford de French Side Troyes in 2019, when the club was still in the championship. Since then, he has accumulated 70 goals in 242 appearances and played a crucial role in his Promotion in the Premier League in 2021.
