Tesla has made a reminder for nearly 46,100 of its cybertrucks because an exterior garnish panel on vehicles could potentially put a danger.
A reminder of the electric vehicle company said on Tuesday that an external filling panel called a Cant rail could potentially get out of the vehicles affected if it dilies.
A zero rail that falls while the truck is trained “can become a road risk, increasing the risk of an accident,” according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

There was no accident, injury or death of the Cybertruck Cant Rails detachment, according to the NHTSA recall report. However, just over 151 guarantee complaints potentially linked to the issue were sent to Tesla in mid-March.
The company has produced cybertrucks which are subject to a cant rail recall between mid-November 2023 and at the end of February this year, said the recall report.
Although Tesla does not burst the deliveries of its cybertrucks, the recalled vehicles represent a large majority of Cybertruck vehicles on the road, based on analysts’ estimates.
Tesla said he would install a new Cant rail that “meets sustainable test requirements” on cybertrucks recalled for free.

The replacement cant rail “uses a different structural adhesive not subject to the environmental plug to reach the assembly, which is reinforced with a stud welded to the stainless steel panel with a nut that tightens the steel panel to the vehicle structure,” said the automaker in the NHTSA report.

The customers concerned can expect the panel replacement process to take about an hour, according to Tesla.
The automaker “will contact you to plan a service appointment when the parts are available in your regions to replace the Cant rail for free on the recalled cybertrucks, he said.

Tesla represents a large part of the vehicles recalled in the United States in 2024, Tesla dominated the list of American reminders with its vehicles representing 5.1 million reminders, according to the Bizzycar recall company. However, most problems for brand cars were generally resolved with live software updates.
