Shakur Stevenson says he believed that Terence Crawford had the style to beat Canelo Alvarez before Dmitry Bivoh even did it several years ago. Stevenson says he saw Crawford hurt the heavyweights, and he does not believe that Canelo can advance against him with his power.
Stevenson says he started to believe that Crawford would beat Canelo in 2021 when he fought the Welter Shakur Porter. He estimated that wearing, 34, was a good gauge to predict the three divisions of Crawford’s performance above at 168.
Logical vs fidelity
Crawford, 37, will challenge Canelo for his belts at 168 on September 13. Despite the two weight divisions, Shakur does not see him as a problem that Terence. He said he thought Crawford was the best fighter of Super Middleweight for many years.
WBC’s lightweight champion Stevenson said that Crawford (41-0, 31 KB) increased two divisions from 154 to 168 to challenge the unified champion Canelo (62-2-2, 38 KB).

If Shakur thinks that Crawford has been the best fighter at 168 years for years, why has he not moved to test himself? He could have done it years ago and earn much more money than at Welterweight. The only big money fight that Crawford had at 147 is Errol Spence. If he could beat all the super average weights, as Shakur maintains, why didn’t he do it?
Crawford could not hurt Israil Madrimov with his punches in his last fight at 154, and he is far from being a heavyweight. If he had the kind of power to hurt the heavyweights, he should have shown it against Madrimov.
