Uber has new shuttles for New York travelers. Less than six months after launching bus journeys between Laguardia and Manhattan airport, the company adds four routes between John F. Kennedy (JFK) and Manhattan international airport.
From Thursday, you can book up to four seats for one of the new routes. You can book them from seven days in advance or up to two minutes before jumping. Each bus has a limit of 14 passengers at launch. Like your flight, you can bring a piece of luggage weighing up to 50 pounds and a personal object that integrates on your knees or under your seat. When you get on board, the pilot will check your identity with a QR code and a spindle.
The four new routes include stops at the Terminal of Port Authority and the Central Terminal in the Grand Central or at the Chinatown and the Atlantic Terminal. Each of these two Manhattan courses is divided into two additional routes – one at Terminal 4 of JFK and another at Terminal 5. They last every 30 minutes, from 5 a.m. to 10:45 p.m., all week.
JFK shuttles will generally cost "up to $ 25" In a way, but Uber launches the new rides with a unidirectional introduction price from $ 10 to April 30.
Uber says he has reserved hundreds of thousands of shuttle seats since he launched his Laguardia roads last fall. Although this can be a practical way to move (and cheaper than greet a taxi), there is a free public transport shuttle between the airport and the metro. As Redditor U / KUFAT heard About Uber shuttles in October, "It is for tourists who think they are stabbed when they enter the metro."
