Deir al Balah, Gaza band – Israeli AiStrikes Killed at Least 100 Palestinians across the Gaza Strip on Thursday, Including 31 or More Who Were Sheltering at A School, According to Medics in the Hamas-Ruled Enclave, in A stepped-up offensive that israel’s military Says is intended to free hostages And finally to expel the militant group. The bodies of 14 children and five women were recovered from school in the Tuffah district of Gaza City, and the number of deaths could increase because some of the 70 critical injuries suffered, said the spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Zaher Al-Wahidi.
The civil defense rescue agency in Gaza said on Friday that at least 31 people were killed during the school strike, with around 100 other injured. More than 30 other Gaza residents were killed in strikes in houses in the neighboring district of Shijaiyah, al-Wahidi said, citing files at AHLI hospital.
The Israeli army said that it had struck a “Hamas command and control center” in the Gaza region, and that it took measures to reduce damage to civilians. Israel gave the same reason – hitting Hamas activists in a “command and control center” – for attacking a United Nations building used as a refuge a day earlier, killing at least 17 people.
Hamas, which had long been designated by a terrorist organization by Israel and the United States before even leading the brutal attack on October 7, 2023 against Israel which triggered War in Gazacalled the school strike a “heinous massacre” of innocent civilians.

Israel has long accused Hamas of hiding weapons and fighters in and around civil infrastructure, but Israeli defense forces provided no immediate evidence to support its assertion that Hamas commanders were present at the Gaza school or in the United Nations building that it bombed this week.
The strikes occurred while the Israeli army ordered more residents in certain parts of the north of Gaza to evacuate the west and the south towards shelters, warning that it planned to “work with extreme force in your region”. A number of Palestinians fleeing the targeted areas have done so on foot, some carrying their personal effects on their backs and others using donkey carts.
“My wife and I have walked for three hours covering a single kilometer,” said Mohammad Ermana, 72. The couple, shaking their hands, each walked with a cane. “I’m looking for shelters every hour now, not every day,” he said.
Israel has expressed radical evacuation orders for parts of the northern Gaza before the expansions expected in its ground operations. The United Nations Humanitarian Bureau said that around 280,000 Palestinians had been moved since Israel suddenly ended a cease-fire with Hamas last month that was negotiated by the United States, Egypt and Qatar.
The new evacuation orders one day came after senior government officials declared that Israel would seize large parts of the Palestinian territory And establish a new safety corridor through it. Israel has imposed a blockade of one month on food, fuel and humanitarian aid in Gaza which left civilians confronted with acute shortages as supplies decrease – a tactic which, according to defense groups, is a war crime. Israel says it is intended to put Hamas to release the hostages and disarm.
Hamas said that it would only release the 59 remaining hostages – of which 24 are supposed to be alive – in exchange for the release of more Palestinian prisoners, a lasting ceasefire and an Israeli withdrawal from Gaza. The group rejected the requirements to lay their arms or leave the territory.

In the southern city of Khan Younis, officials said that the bodies of 14 people had been taken to Nasser hospital – including nine from the same family. The dead included five children and four women. The bodies of 19 other people, including five children aged 1 to 7 and a pregnant woman, were taken to the European hospital near Khan Younis, hospital officials said. In Gaza City, 21 bodies were taken to Ahli hospital, including those of seven children.
Later in the day, strikes killed four other people in Khan Younis, according to Nasser Hospital, and two other people were killed in the center of Gaza and taken to Al Aqsa hospital.
The attacks occurred while the Israeli army promised an independent investigation into an operation of March 23 in which its forces opened fire on ambulances in the south of Gaza. UN officials say that 15 Palestinian doctors and emergency speakers were killed and that their bodies and ambulances were buried by Israeli soldiers in a mass tomb.
The army initially declared that the ambulances operated with suspicion and that nine activists had been killed. The army said that the investigation would be led by an expert organization who has an abundance of facts “responsible for examining exceptional incidents” during the war. Rights defense groups say that these Israeli surveys are often lacking and that soldiers are rarely punished.
Palestine Red Crescent Society, Younes Al-Khatib, said on Thursday that he thought that some of the doctors were still alive when they were overwhelmed by Israeli forces. The radio distributors of the organization heard a conversation in Hebrew between doctors and Israeli soldiers after the ambulances were criticized, al-Khatib told the United Nations Security Council.
Riyad Mansour, the United Nations Ambassador of the United Nations, told the United Nations Security Council he gave a video he had obtained, allegedly showing the moments leading to the Israeli murder of 15 humanitarian workers in Gaza.
Mansour said that the video shows that humanitarian workers, including eight members of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, traveled in emergency vehicles with lights on at night to mess up with Israeli defense forces. But, said Le Mansour, the video “found on the body of one of the martyrs”, shows that the Israeli army has stretched an ambush in the vehicle despite the emergency lights.
The War of Israel in Gaza killed more than 50,600 Palestinians, according to the Ministry of Health managed by Gaza, who does not say if those who are killed are civilians or combatants, but says that more than half of the people killed were women and children. Friday, in an update, the ministry said that 1,249 people had been killed in Gaza since March 18, when Israel has resumed strikes in Gaza, ending a cease-fire in the Palestinian territory.
The number of deaths in Israeli aggression has increased to 50,609 martyrs
Israel says he killed around 20,000 activists, without providing evidence.
The war has left most of Gaza in ruins and its inappropriate height of approximately 90% of the population.
The war began when Israel immediately retaliated for the terrorist attack led by Hamas against southern Israel on October 7, 2023, which killed around 1,200 people, mainly civilians, and saw 251 other people brought back as hostages in Gaza, most of whom have since been released in cease-fire agreements and other agreements. Israel has saved eight living hostages and has recovered dozens of bodies.
