While the United States has approached to conclude an agreement with Tiktok belonging to Chinese to transform its American operations into a new company belonging to American investors, the Chinese government said it would not be accepted, citing the Trump administration prices, according to a report.
The agreement had been approved by investors, the US government and Bytedance belonging to the Chinese, the owner of Tiktok, according to Reuters, citing two sources.
Bytedance would keep a minority participation in Tiktok under the agreement.

Tiktok faced a ban in the United States in January if he failed to give up American investors, but Trump extended the deadline when he came into office and extended it on Friday.
“My administration worked very hard on an agreement to save Tiktok, and we made enormous progress,” he wrote on Truth Social Friday. “The agreement requires more work to ensure that all the necessary approvals are signed, which is why I point out an executive order to keep Tiktok operational for 75 days.”

He added: “We hope to continue working in good faith with China, which, I understand, are not very satisfied with our reciprocal prices (necessary for fair and balanced trade between China and the United States!). We are impatient to work with Tiktok and China to conclude the agreement.

Trump said he would be willing to negotiate prices if China accepted the Byédance agreement.
