“Be your own boss” is a conviction that many young people soak in the first years of their work. This could be due to long hours of work, toxic bosses or maybe the daily version could benefit.
Most of them enter the game of entrepreneurship hoping for greener pastures. Harsh Pokharna, a CEO based in Bengaluru, recently said in an article on social networks that he had left his job at Flipkart to start his own business.
He said in a recent Instagram post that he had left Flipkart to build a startup because he wanted to earn a lot of money very quickly.
“The founders collected millions of dollars in funding all around me. It seemed easy. But, the reality?” He wrote in his article. Pokharna said he had initially faced start -up failures before starting his current business.
He said he had failed for the first 2 years to work on 3 different ideas. The entrepreneur also revealed that during this period, he exhausted all his savings and had to be independent to survive.
He also mentioned that he had been building Okcredit for 8 years but that he always has a “long way to go” and that he learned a precious lesson. Pokharna said that the construction of a startup is not equal to instant success.
“It’s a long-term game, not a quick-rich fast scheme. Play it only if you really want to solve a problem, or you will finish disappointed.”
Internet users have argued hard for sharing his struggle, some even saying that they could relate to what Pokharna lived during his trip.
“Your story and your perseverance have always pushed me to never give up. I want to share my ideas and want your criticism (sic),” wrote a user.
“But let’s always play long -term game with strategic planning and incessant efforts with patience to win! It looks like a good idea for me (sic),” said a second user.
“Our situation is a bit similar, but the idea we work on is unique and I believe that a little help of people like you can help us overcome more quickly, but the problem is that each time we are looking for help or mentorship, nothing is free and there will be back. I hope you try to understand,” said a third user.
“Myself through them, I can absolutely feel (sic),” said a fourth user.
