An American who briefly disappeared during a vacation at the Bahamas with his parents was found dead on a beach the next morning, according to his family.
They believe that his death is suspect after the authorities have found 23 years old Dinari McCalmont, from Maryland, Died on Paradise Island in Nassau on April 6, only 12 hours after landing on the Caribbean Island with his parents.
Michelle McCalmont, McCalmont’s mother, said EYEWITNESS NEWS BAHAMAS that she was “traumatized” after identifying the remains of her son, alleging that he seemed to be beaten, Fox 5 DC was reported for the first time.

Commissioner for the Royal Bahamas Police Forces Shanta Knowles told Eyewitness News that the authorities await the results of McCalmont’s autopsy.
The police commissioner did not immediately respond to an investigation by Fox News Digital.

“We are deeply saddened by the death of one of our customers,” the complex at Fox News Digital said in a press release. “Our thoughts are with his family during this difficult period. We cooperate fully with the authorities as they conduct their investigation.”
The State Department issued a level 2 travel notice for the Bahamas, as well as for Cuba, the Dominican Republic, the Dutch Antilles and the Turks and Caicos.
Level 2 travel notice warns tourists to “be aware of the risks increased for safety and security”.
