Amazon and Fedex have concluded a package delivery agreement.
Business Insider reported, citing an internal document, that a new agreement between the electronic commerce giant and the delivery company was signed at the end of February.
As part of the agreement, Fedex will carry packages that Amazon customers have ordered on behalf of the electronic commerce giant, Depending on the point of sale.

Amazon spokesperson Steve Kelly told Fox Business that the company had “concluded an agreement with FEDEX to serve as a third-party partners to deliver packages to our customers”.
Fedex “joins our other third-party partners like UPS and the USPS, who work alongside our own Last Mile delivery network to help us balance the ability to serve customers,” he said.
Amazon denies the price plan that the White House called “hostile and political”
In the United States, deliveries more than two thirds of Amazon packages are supported by its own logistics network, according to Amazon.

“Fedex has the global network, capacity and expertise to meet the shipping needs of thousands of retailers in the electronic shopping space. We have reached a mutually beneficial and multi -year agreement with Amazon to provide residential delivery of certain packages, including large articles,” FEDEX told Fox Business.
Business Insider has reported the internal document he saw that Amazon will know “the favor of costs” compared to UPS thanks to its partnership with Fedex.
UPS has long been a third -party delivery partner in Amazon. In January, IT and Amazon agreed that the electronic commerce giant would reduce the volume of Amazon packages that it manages by more than 50%.

The goal of the new partnership with Fedex is not to replace UPS, according to Amazon.
Fedex previously had a partnership with Amazon which included an agreement to make us deliveries on the ground. This contract ended in 2019.

Brie Carere, executive vice-president and Fedex customer chief, said on Monday at a Bank of America conference that the delivery company “had just concluded a new agreement” with Amazon, according to A Seekingalpha transcription.
She said that the yield “will be accreditive to the average of our system on the domestic market”.
“We have a very unique capacity that we cover all postal codes in the United States, and we also move heavy plans and difficult to handle that anyone,” she said, adding that the company will be “mainly wide”.
