The Ministry of Education Working Group to combat anti -Semitism published a statement on May 13, citing recent reports which “exposed the Harvard Law Review’s endemic discrimination model during the assessment of articles for inclusion in its review”.
The results resulted in Trump administration Cut an additional $ 450 million in university grants.
In addition to layoffs, Harvard has implemented “important steps” to reduce costs in the Kennedy school, said Weinstein, such as breaks in hiring and remuneration based on merit, the implementation of a lease on the first floor of an office building, the stop of “non -urgent” from the bottom.
“Unfortunately, these efforts will not be sufficient to meet our current financial challenges,” wrote the dean. “Consequently, we must dismiss certain members of our team and restructure other positions to ensure the long -term financial future of the Kennedy school.”
