The AI of Apple AI, Apple Intelligence, will soon be available in French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese, Korean and Chinese simplified, as well as English versions located for India and Singapore.
During the call for quarterly results of T4 2024 of the company on Thursday, CEO Tim Cook said that the company would deploy the support of these additional languages in April.
Last year, the first version of Apple Intelligence supported only American English. Later, in December, when the company published the iOS 18.2 update, it included support for English in Australian, Canadian, New Zealand, South African and British locations. Society has not revealed its intention to deploy its AI suite in the EU and continental China.
Cook also noted that the new version of Siri, which includes the context on the screen, will release “in the coming months”.
