Real Madrid secured a dominant 3-0 victory over Real Valladolid at the Estadio Jose Zorrilla, inspired by a brilliant hat-trick from Kylian Mbappe.
Mbappe opened the scoring on the half-hour mark after a clever one-two with Jude Bellingham. The French striker fired a precise shot past goalkeeper Hein, giving Madrid a deserved lead.
Valladolid’s resistance was limited to an early chance, superbly saved by Thibaut Courtois, but they struggled to create further chances, finishing with just one shot on target.
In the second half, Mbappe doubled his tally with a clinical finish after a quick counter-attack involving Rodrygo. He then capped his performance with a composed penalty in stoppage time to complete his first hat-trick for the club. In the final moments, Valladolid’s Mario Martin was sent off for a dangerous tackle.
This victory allows Real Madrid to take a four-point lead over Atletico Madrid, at the top of La Liga.

Bayern Munich secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Freiburg to maintain their position at the top of the Bundesliga.
Harry Kane opened the scoring in the 15th minute, deftly chipping away from Lienhart before firing a low shot past Atubolu for his 17th league goal of the season.
The visitors doubled their advantage early in the second half when Joshua Kimmich took a precise corner, allowing Min-Jae Kim to nod home from close range. Freiburg, however, refused to turn around and reduced the score in the 68th minute. Ritsu Doan’s perfectly weighted corner found Matthias Ginter, who rose above Kim to guide his header into the bottom corner.
Despite late pressure from the hosts, including a near miss from Gregoritsch in added time, Bayern held on. Kingsley Coman almost extended the lead, forcing a fine save from Atubolu, but it proved to be of no use as the Bavarian giants finished off the match.

Napoli staged a superb second-half comeback to defeat Juventus 2-1 at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, extending their lead at the top of Serie A.
The visitors took the lead late in the first half when debutant Randal Kolo Muani fired a well-taken volley past Alex Meret in the 43rd minute.
Despite a few half-chances, Napoli lacked liveliness in the first half, failing to test Juventus goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio.
However, the hosts emerged in a different light after the break. They equalized in the 57th minute thanks to Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa’s well-placed header from a Matteo Politano cross.
Their efforts paid off in the 69th minute when Manuel Locatelli fouled Scott McTominay awkwardly in the box. Romelu Lukaku calmly converted the penalty, scoring his 200th goal in Europe’s top five leagues.
The win puts Napoli six points clear of second-placed Inter, while Juventus remains fifth.

PSG were left frustrated as Reims held them to a 1-1 draw at the Parc des Princes for the third time in a row.
Ousmane Dembélé put the hosts ahead just two minutes into the second half with a deflected shot following Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s assist on his debut. However, Reims responded nine minutes later, as Keito Nakamura ended Marshall Munetsi’s layoff.
Goncalo Ramos came close in the first half, hitting the post and palming away a free header, while Dembélé forced a strong save from Yehvann Diouf. The visitors were clinical, scoring with their only shot on target, as Nakamura took his season tally to eight goals.
PSG’s late pressure was repelled by Reims’ resilient defense, including a crucial block from Cédric Kipre.
PSG extend their lead to ten points but will rue their missed chances as they now turn their attention to the Champions League clash against Stuttgart.
