The Trump administration told the senior FBI officials to resign or lose their jobs, Fox News learned.
The exact number has not been disclosed, but the ultimatum would have been given to senior employees promoted under the former director, Christopher A. Wray.
President Donald Trump’s administration took these measures as a candidate to direct the office, Kash Patel, said that he would not start his mandate by compensation or did not focus on past transgressions.
“I have no interest, no desire and I will not, if confirmed, go back. There will be no politicization at the FBI. No compensation will be taken,” said Patel to the Committee judicial of the Senate.

Depending on the reports of The New York TimesAn e-mail to colleagues from one of the higher agents stressed that he had learned that he would be dismissed “from the Roles of the FBI” on Monday morning.
“I had no justification for this decision, which, as you can imagine, was a shock,” he wrote.

During the hearing of the Senate’s judicial committee, Patel said he did not know any Retribution plan for the Trump administration.
“Are you aware of plans or discussions to punish any way, including termination, FBI agents or staff associated with Trump surveys?” Asked the Democratic Senator Cory Booker.

“I’m not aware of it, the senator,” replied Patel.
Although the Patel was appointed, a director was not officially confirmed to take care of, so that the news of the ultimatum was alarming for those involved.
Until the vote is coming to an end, Brian Driscoll remains the acting director of the office.
The FBI refused to comment when reached by Fox News.
