Wargaming said that World of Tanks Blitz, the free-to-play, cross-platform tank action game, is about to enter a new chapter with the upcoming Reforged update.
Wargaming said the live-as-a-service game title’s update is the biggest in gaming history. It’s a big deal, as Wargaming said last year, only after 10 years ago, World of Tanks Blitz had already reached 180 million players and $1 billion in revenue.
For over a decade, World of Tanks Blitz has set the standard for fun and engaging tank warfare, bringing together over 180 million players worldwide, over 500 historical and fictional tanks, 11 game modes and more of 30 cards.
The Reforged update brings Unreal Engine 5 visuals, improved physics, revamped progression and commander systems, and more to the game.
“This is an important milestone for the World of Tanks Blitz community,” said Thaine Lyman, General Manager of MS-1 Studio, Wargaming. “Over the past two years, the entire MS-1 team has worked hard to deliver an update that transforms the game, opens up new possibilities for innovation, and delivers a modernized, visually stunning experience while remaining true to what it’s all about. that players like the most. We are excited to invite everyone to be part of this new journey! »
The update will present:
- Upgrading to Unreal Engine 5: The tools available in Unreal Engine 5 will speed up development, improve gameplay, and enable a visual blend of realism and fantasy.
