The Republicans put pressure on the Ministry of Justice to advance the release of classified documents and files related to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy and other federal secrets.
President Donald Trump signed a decree in January so that the agencies create plans to distribute the files, as well as documents relating to the assassinations of Senator Robert F. Kennedy and Dr Martin Luther King Jr.
But the representative Anna Paulina Luna, r -Fla., Who directs the working group of the Chamber’s supervisory committee on the declassification of federal secrets, pushes the Ministry of Justice to obtain answers on the moment when this happens – And so far, said she has faced silence.
“On February 11 and February 19, House Outsiigh sent a letter to the DOJ requesting a status on the publication of Epstein and JFK files, etc.,” said Luna in an article on X on Monday. “The Doj did not respond. Luna sent a letter to the director of national intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, the prosecutor General Pam Bondi, the national security advisor Michael Waltz and the lawyer of the White House David Warrington requesting a briefing by Thursday on the publication of the Documents.
The letter also requests details on the moment when the declassified documents will be available for the working group and the public.
Trump’s decree asked the Ministry of Justice to coordinate with Gabbard, Waltz and Warrington to establish a plan by February 7 for the publication of JFK files and to create a plan for the publication of MLK and Robert F files .
In addition, Luna pushes the Ministry of Justice to share the details concerning the list of customers of Jeffrey Epstein. The American financier died in 2019 pending a trial on accusations of sexual traffic.
Meanwhile, Bondi said on Friday that the list of Epstein customers was waiting for a review and that she was examining the Kennedy and King files.

A spokesman for the Ministry of Justice did not immediately respond to a request for comments from Fox News Digital.
Luna’s office did not respond to a request for comments from Fox News Digital in response to Bondi statements.
Luna is not the only republican legislator who pressure for the release of these documents. The Office of the Director of National Intelligence also did not immediately respond to a request for comments from Fox News Digital, but told the Associated Press that a plan had been subject to Kennedy files.

The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comments from Fox News Digital. However, Trump promised on the campaign track that he would declare all the documents related to the JFK if he won the 2024 elections.
The room working group on the declassification of federal secrets should hold its first public hearing on March 26.
