The non-traditional media and several Tiktok influencers who use the social media platform to speak of news said they are applying to become a journalist in the news room this week after the White House press secretary, Karoline Leavitt independent or new media.

Since several journalists have chosen to use substitution, others used Tiktok to share news or talk about news. Leavitt also suggested that podcasters apply to what it has described as the “New Media” seat.

Democratic influencer Harry Sisson, a vocal supporter of former president Joe Biden and former vice-president Kamala Harris, posted on Tiktok that he asked for a press pass, but had doubts about knowing If it would be authorized in the information room.
Sisson argued that the independent media should have a seat at the table, but wondered how the White House would decide who would get the new seat of the media and if it, a Democrat, would be authorized to ask a question.
The host of “The Ruthless Podcast”, Josh Ashbrook, became the first podcastor to ask a question in the briefing room. Ashbrook asked Leavitt if the media were disconnected.
“During your first briefing, the media continued this administration to expel illegal immigrants who, according to them, were not criminals,” said Ashbrook. “The question is: do you think they are disconnected with the Americans demanding an action on our border crisis?”
Ashbook, a former country strategist with Senator Mitch McConnell, r-ky., Highlighted what it was to be in the briefing room during an appearance on “The Will Cain Show” this after- noon.
