Sharing my thoughts and revised on Darin Olien’s book Superlife And what I learned.
Hi friends! How is the morning? I hope you have a great day so far. It has been * slightly cooler here lately. Just to the point where the air is pleasant and fresh without being too cold. The mornings were really adorable.
For today’s post, I wanted to share my criticism and my reflections on Darin Olien’s book, Superlife. Written in Olien’s engaging conversational style, Superlife is a unique full look at the diet and nutrition, a timeless and essential guide to keep the human body and maximize its potential.
Superlife book review
You may know Darin from a few places:
1) He was the competent companion of Zac Efron in Earth on earth (Which I almost mentally spent in debating that was more attractive. In the end, I think it’s a tie.)
2) He is one of the creators of Shakeology! This is the Beachbody Shake protein, which is full of superfoods and nutrients. I drank it religiously and loved it for years, but I stopped drinking it when I was pregnant with P and I never really came back in it. He has an incredible taste.
When I saw that Darin had a book, I am instantly Downloaded on my Kindle application. I finally had the chance to dive and finish it, and Wow. Although this is largely of the information I already knew by being in the health and well-being space for a while, I still learned a ton. It was also a soft boost to resume healthy habits that fell from the radar over time. I have the impression that with so many of you, I have really tried to keep my head out of the water lately. I finally have the impression of being almost at a point where I go beyond the reference “simply survive” and I can start focusing on a few work objectives and routine adjustments.
For a healthy lifestyle, I want to add things to your routine where it makes sense, instead of focusing on deleting them. For example: more vegetables, more movement, more fresh air, better sleep, meditation, etc. Instead of less cake, less sugar, less meat, blah blah. This book gives many ideas on the strategies you can add to your routine for a great life; The one who is vibrant, energized, painless and illness.

In this revolutionary guide to health and lifestyle, Darin Olien – food expert, nutritionists, creator of Shakeology, and co -host of Netflix Docuseries Earth on earth With Zac Efron – provides the key to understanding and using five life forces, the only factors that determine if we will be healthy, in shape and without illness.
In SuperlifeDarin Olien provides us with a whole new way of thinking about health and well-being by identifying what he calls the forces of life: quality nutrition, hydration, detoxification, oxygenation and alkalization. Olien demonstrates in detail how to maintain these processes, allowing our body to do the rest. He tells us how we can maintain a healthy weight, even prevent the most serious illnesses and feel good. He explains that all this is possible without any of the restrictive or gadgets diets that never work in the long term.
Olien has traveled the world, exploring the health properties of foods that have supported Aboriginal cultures for centuries. By putting his research into practice, he created a unique and proven formula to maximize the potential of our body. It also includes a user guide “practitioner” with a list of races, advice on “What to Loer Away”, a guide to create a healthy and balanced diet and advice on how to effectively use supplements .
What I liked in this book
It breaks down the book into 5 forces of life to emphasize in your daily routine: nutrition, hydration, oxygenation, alkalization and detoxification. In each segment, it provides details on the steps you can implement to make the most of each component. He also adds advice to exercise, feed children, supplements, kitchen staples and a 10 -day diet sample and a list of tasks. I love how meticulous it is in each section with a lot of feasible advice. This is one of my black animals when you read a health or well-being book and the author spends all the time telling you why their plan or philosophy works so well without giving you the steps you need. They spend too much on the “why” instead of the “how” and this book is the perfect mixture of the two. It is also written in a very conversation, so even if it includes several facts supported by science and studies evaluated by peers, it is an easy reading.
Notes I took my phone while reading:
– Make germs. (You can see more here)
– Large salads with a lot of raw vegetables – focus on curlycakes and broccoli
– smoothies with various ingredients
– Water with a pinch of Himalayan, cayenne and lemon sea salt in the morning
– High chlorophyll food: card beet, curly cabbage, spirulina, chlorella
– do sporadic and fun exercise; You really challenge
– Find a better source of water. We have an inverted osmosis here at home, but it has not been maintained since the first time we have experienced here. So we didn’t use it. I filled the great WHOLE FOODS water jugs. Although I try to find a better option (glass bottles, an excellent filter like Berkey or even a delivery service). If you have any ideas, let me know!
As a non-Vegetalian who likes vegan food, I am delighted to try some of the new recipes in Superlife. They are all vibrative in color and filled with vegetables.
So tell me, friends: what is the best health or well-being book you have read recently?
Impressive healthy recipes you have tried?
