Tottenham Hotspur expressed his admiration for the manager of Bournemouth Andoni Iraola, but they have undertaken to support Angel Postocoou for the moment.
Despite the difficulties of the club in the Premier League this season, journalist Ben Jacobs said Givemesport.
According to Jacobs, Spurs do not have the immediate intention of separating from PostCoglou and do not actively consider other management options at this stage.
Although there were reports binding them with Iraola earlier this month, the club remains focused on supporting the postcoglou through what was a difficult campaign – the club fighting with an injury crisis without previous.
Despite the strong reputation of Iraola, in particular for his work in Bournemouth, the Spurs have not yet made a formal approach for the 42 -year -old man.

Tottenham Hotspur moves back his manager to continue despite a bad shape

Jacobs reported that even if the Spaniard is appreciated in Tottenham, the club is not currently trying to replace Postocoglou and has no urgency to create a list of potential successors.
“It is true that Tottenham appreciates Andoni Iraola, but it is nothing more at this stage, they did not make any kind of approach.
“They did not crystallize any type of post-angel plan because they want to support Postcoglou.
“So, if, hypothetically, there is a vacant position, you expect Iraola to be discussed further.
“But there is no vacancy right now, and there is no urgency to write this list at this stage of the season.”
Iraola, now in his second season in Bournemouth, guided the club to its best place in the Premier League in the 12th place last season. This term, he set even more objective, and the team is currently taking advantage of a remarkable campaign – they are sitting in sixth place with 12 games to play.
Indeed, cherries are in a privileged position to challenge a place of historical European qualification, which the club has never achieved before.
