US President Donald Trump suggested that Ukraine “could be Russian one day” while trying to fill a boastful that he will put war on a quick end.
Trump comments in an interview on Monday, when he discussed the three -year conflict that followed Russia’s large -scale invasion. kyiv, on the other hand, suggested that he was open to an agreement that would see Washington in remuneration for continuous military and financial assistance.

The American leader also reiterated that he wanted compensation for the help that the United States has provided to Ukraine in the form of access to rare earth minerals.

Kyiv fears that any regulation which does not include hard military commitments, such as membership in NATO or the deployment of peacekeeping troops, will only allow Kremlin time to regroup and rearm a new attack.
Trump suggested during the weekend that he had spoken with Russian President Vladimir Putin. However, Moscow did not confirm that there had been contact and rather reiterated that a truce is only possible according to his conditions.
