Mantato could be one to monitor in the first team of the United States in the near future if Amorim had already noticed its potential, so it could end up being an exciting new for the club.
We have seen the MUFC produce the best talents of their academy so many times before, and fans hope that Mantato will be able to follow in the footsteps of certain major clubs of all time.
Manchester United has a story of success with graduates of the academy
A large part of the success of United at the time of Sir Alex Ferguson was to local players like Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes and the Neville brothers.
More recently, we have also seen Marcus Rashford, Scott MCTOMINAY and KOBBIE MAINOO PASS.
Mantato could have similar potential, so it’s a good thing that United has linked it to a new agreement.
Arsenal, for example, will know that the players of the Academy do not always remain there, after having lost Chido Obi-Martin and Ayden Heaven in United recent times.
United has done well to poach these young people, but they also produce theirs, and they undoubtedly hope that it will prove to be a winning strategy in the years to come.
