Oliver Glasner was full of praise for Ebelechi Eze after providing a goal and a decisive pass in the victory of Crystal Palace in FA Cup against Fulham, but admitted that the playmaker had had a “strange” season.
By placing a good week during which, in the score of his first senior goal in England, Eze scored a sublime strike before setting up Ismaila Sarr while Palace lacked 3-0 winners to progress in the semi-finals.
Eze opened the scoring in Craven Cottage when he cut off from the left and produced a curling effort that his manager described as “an incredible finish”.
The 26 -year -old then transformed the supplier, crossing Sarr to double the visitor’s advance. The replacement Eddie Nketiah added a third in the second half to reserve the Place de Palace in the last four.

Eze only scored twice in the Premier League this quarter and produced six assists. But Glasner was quick to recognize the contribution of his star man.
“I think the refuses [Eze] Had a fairly strange season because he doesn’t really have a goal in the Premier League, but he was so likely, “said Glasner.
“He was so unlucky in many situations. He had refused goals, deflected the bullets, hitting the post, everything, but he still continues.
“He fought against certain injuries, also strange injuries with his foot and something. I also think that the goal of Latvia, his first goal for England, means a lot for him as a person and helped him.
“He always has confidence. We all know that he has an incredible finish and that he can cut his right foot and I think that against Latvia, he marked in the nearby post. Here it was an incredible finish on the distant post.
“We need this quality, each team needs this quality, especially in the finish. It helped us today, it definitely helped us. ”
The next step for Palace is a return to action in the Premier League when they go to the Bottom Southampton club on Wednesday.
