Google’s new batch of Android features announced on Tuesday includes scam detection for its application of messages and, for Pixel Watch 3 owners, a pulse loss detection function that will automatically call emergency services.
Google’s SCAM detection function will use a disk AI to analyze conversations for suspect models, and display an invite to the screen when the function believes that you have a conversation with a crook. This prompt will also give access to reject the message, or report and block the sender. This feature will be activated by default, Google noting that all AI treatment remains on the device. However, it can be deactivated at any time.

This feature arrives alongside the detection function of the similar scam in the Google telephone application which was announced for the first time to Google I / O 2024, which sends an prompt when it detects that you could be on a call with an alleged crook.
Meanwhile for Pixel Watch 3 owners, the new pulse loss detection feature of this device is launched in the United States after receiving Food of the American FDA Last week. Google says that functionality will arrive at watches at the end of March and will act in events that will cause loss of pulse such as cardiac arrest or circulatory failure. This feature is already in 14 countries, including the European Union.
Google’s announcements arrive in the middle of the World Congress 2025 mobile, during which the company also shows new Gemini AI features where the assistant can answer questions depending on what your camera sees or via Screenshare.
