A superior AEW heel thought about how he has marked the story at WWE before his sudden release. His departure from the promotion led by Triple H was a shock for many fans of struggle around the world.
Ricochet joined All Elite Wrestling in August of last year, when he made his debut at the Wembley stadium. He has done a lot of applause from London fans and has since established himself as the first star of the promotion based in Jacksonville.
Currently one of AEW’s best heels, Ricochet has entered WWE history when it became the first speed champion in April of last year before leaving promotion a few months later in July. He talked about it on the Unlikely Podcast a few days ago and said:
“You have to consider everything as an opportunity, and if you don’t do it, then I think you are already defeated. You have to look at everything – above all, you know, they [WWE] I was putting something in it, and I wanted to be part of the construction of something, which makes it as large as possible. I like this feeling. So, once again, any opportunity you get, you have to hit, and that’s a bit the way I see it. This applies to everything: life, struggle, everything. »» [H/T EWrestling News]
The president of the AEW, Tony Khan, gives his point of view on ricochet
The president of the AEW, Tony Khan, seems to take a lot of care of his wrestlers. He is often very cordial by talking about them.
However, he recently talked about the ricochet and said that the former WWE superstar was a difficult personality. Speaking on the Battlefield podcastTony Khan said the 36 -year -old was one of the least popular names in the locker room and that he also managed to return the fans against him. However, Khan recognized the skills in the ring of high leaflets and said that he liked to work with him.
“One of the least appreciated men of our locker rooms and someone of whom I am a big fan as a wrestler, but he is a very difficult personality, very difficult to work, really weird and it’s ricochet,” said Khan. “He really turned fans and I think he is a great, big wrestler and to be honest, I like to work because I think he is such a big talent in the ring.”
It is interesting to see someone like Tony Khan say something like that about Ricochet. But it just shows how effective a heel ricochet has become effective in AEW.
