A civilian plane which violated a temporary flight restriction (TFR) near the Mar-A-Lago domain of President Donald Trump was detected and “escorted” by military officials on Sunday.
In a statement published on Sunday, the North American Aerospace Defense Command (Norad) said that his fighter plane F-16 responded to “a general flying plane flying over Palm Beach, Florida.
Norad, who is an American military alliance with Canada, said that the civilian plane “had violated the TFR around 1:15 p.m. Eastern day.”
“The plane was [then] Safetyly hits the region by Norad aircraft, “said Norad.

The press release also noted that Norad Aircraft had “exempt rockets” at the time, which could be visible for civilians.
“Enlightening rockets were used to attract attention or communicate with the pilot,” noted the declaration. “Enlightening rockets are used with the greatest respect for security, exhaust quickly and completely, and do not represent any danger for people on the ground.”
Commander of the Norad, General Gregory Guillot, said that the agency “works in close collaboration” with the FAA to “keep the sky above America in safety, with particular attention to zones with temporary flight restrictions (TFR)”.

“Membership of TFR procedures is essential to ensure flight safety, national security and security of the president,” added Guillot. “The procedures are not optional, and the excessive number of recent TFR violations indicates that many civilian aviators do not read the airmen, or the notam, before each flight required by the FAA, and led to multiple responses by norad fighter planes to guide offensive planes outside the TFR.”
“If the pilot of an aircraft is intercepted by one of the combatants or helicopters, they should immediately appear on the frequency 121.5 or 243.0 and turn to reverse the course until receiving additional instructions on one of these frequencies.”
