Openai published updates on Monday for the advanced vocal mode, its AI vocal function which allows conversations in real time in Chatgpt, to make the assistant Ai more kind and interrupt less frequently.
Manuka Stratta, an OpenAi researcher after training, announced changes in a video published Monday with the official company Social media channels.
OPENAI’s latest update aims to solve a frequent problem with AI vocal assistants, who will interrupt users when they stop to think or take a deep inspiration.
Free chatgpt users now have access to a new version of the advanced voice mode which allows users to take a break, without being interrupted, when they speak to the AI assistant. Paid users of chatgpt – including subscribers to Openai’s Plus, Teams, Edu, Business and Pro Third Party – will also obtain less frequent interruptions when using the advanced voice mode, as well as an improved personality for the voice assistant.
An Openai spokesperson tells Techcrunch that his new AI vocal assistant for paid users is “more direct, committing, concise, specific and creative in his responses”.
Advanced vocal mode improvements are involved in the middle of intense pressure from competitors in the assistant space of Voice.
