The Japan markets exchanged flat with most of the region’s markets closed for Good Friday.
The Nikkei in Japan 225 increased 0.01% After inflation of the country increased by 3.6% over a year in March, marking three consecutive years that the figure in the inflation of the securities is greater than the target of 2% of the Bank of Japan. The figure was less than 3.7% observed in February.
The “nucleus-nucleus” inflation rate, which removes fresh food and energy prices and is closely monitored by the BOJ, increased to 2.9% against 2.6% in the previous month.
In South Korea Kospit added 0.1%. The CSI of China slipped 0.33% at the opening.
The markets of Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore are closed for the holidays.
In the United States, the three major averages have closed. The S&P 500 checked higher in the agitated trade on Thursday, but ended the week of negotiating holidays of the holidays, because the prices continued to worry investors.
The wide index increased by 0.13% to end at 5,282.70 after having swung between gains and losses earlier in the session. The NASDAQ composite increased 0.13% to end at 16,286.45. But the Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 527.16 points, or 1.33%, to settle at 39,142.23.
Investors have been on alert since Trump announced for the first time his “reciprocal” prices plan – which he then returned – April 2.
