Prosecutors accuse Vallow Daybell of plotting with his late brother, Alex Cox, to assassinate his late husband, Charles Vallow, to benefit from a $ 1 million life insurance policy and marry another man, Chad Daybell, in 2019.
The Arizona trial comes almost two years after Vallow Daybell and her current husband, Chad Daybell, were found guilty and sentenced to life in prison for the murders of Vallow, the two youngest children in Vallow, Joshua “JJ” JJ “Vallow, 16, Tammy’s first wife, Tammy Daybell 2019.
On Wednesday, the second day of the trial, the witness Nancy Jo Hancock – a woman who made an appointment with Charles Vallow in July 2019 at night before Vallow was killed by bullet – entered a stormy exchange with Vallow Daybell during the counter -examination.

In court, Vallow Daybell questioned Hancock on the date and if Hancock knew that she and Vallow were still married at the time.
“Would you have come out with him if he said he was married?” Asked Vallow Daybell.
“If I had realized how married he was, perhaps not,” replied Hancock. “But I just met for dinner. I was not lying with him or anything.”

“Do you bet on dates with married men, naturally?” Vallow Daybell retaliated, before the accusation was opposed and does not call it “argumentative and harassment”.
Daybell Vallow continued to question Hancock, who retaliated after continuing to be in a hurry on the date.
“So did you spend all your appointment to know each other, to talk about me?” Asked Vallow Daybell.
“Will not be flattered,” replied Hancock. “No, we didn’t spend all the time talking about you.”
“Will not be flattered.”
The stormy exchange has taken the internet storm with several reactions shared online.
At a different time during her Hancock counter-examination, Vallow Daybell again asked the witness if she was aware of her appointment with Charles Vallow that he was “on websites and dating women”.
The accusation opposed the premise of speculation, which the judge suffered. Vallow Daybell then reframed his question, asking if Charles Vallow informed Hancock of the “Lori and Charles” separate “situation.

“He had the impression that you had a liaison, so he is moving forward was a natural progression of that,” replied Hancock.

Vallow Daybell then asked for more information on Hancock communications with Kay Woodcock, Charles Vallow’s sister by adoption. JJ Vallow referred to Kay and her husband, Larry Woodcock, her grandparents. After asking Hancock to describe his communications with Woodcock, Vallow Daybell suddenly cut the witness when she started to discuss JJ Vallow.
“To express my condolences for his brother who died and I wanted to let him know that I had dinner with him that night and how much he loved JJ and how excited he was to see him the next morning and just -” started Hancock before the interrupted Vallow Daybell.
“Thank you. It’s enough,” said the accused.

The next bizarre exchange intervened between Vallow Daybell and his brother, Adam Cox, who told the jury that he had proven in Phoenix just before Charles’ death, saying that he had gone to help Charles organize an intervention with his sister.
During the counter-examination, Vallow Daybell did not ask many questions, apparently proving that they had not interacting for years.
“The last time, I remember our communications, it was you and I spoke in the kitchen, when the family was over,” said Cox.
“So do you think it was this time in 2018?” Asked Vallow Daybell.

Vallow Daybell again asked him about not remembering it and said “this is what I did whenever there was a family meeting, which was like 10 times a year”.

Vallow Daybell explained to True Crime Arizona that she “worked on her case for five years” and that “better than a lawyer can learn in two years”, after making the decision to imagine.
“This is the thing, when you give up your quick trial, so they can keep you here as long as you wish,” Vallow told True Crime Arizona. “There are intelligent, strong and beautiful women here who have been here for eight years because of family tragedies. It is the same thing, like my case, a family tragedy, not a crime. A family tragedy, and they are waiting, and they are confronted with the death penalty for a family tragedy.”

At the time of the murder of Charles Vallow, his daughter, Tylee, confronted her with a baseball bat after hearing screaming inside the house. Vallow Daybell could be sentenced to another life sentence and also faced another trial in Arizona in May for an alleged conspiracy to kill the ex-husband of his niece after a judge rejected his request for rejection of the case.
