According to Carter, on March 27, his body was found with a ball injury to the head, apparently inflicted on the left side of his body. Gennia would have been straight and “terrified” firearms, according to her cousin, Jasmine grimes.
When the deputies arrived on the scene, Rogers McCloud Jr., his two -year -old boyfriend and the father of her nine -month -old son, reportedly told the authorities that Gennia had killed himself while they were in a car together.
The Cousin of Gennia, however, believes that McCloud Jr. had a plot to steal money from Gennia tuition fees. According to Jasmine, Gennia had received money from family members.
“He took Money – she asked him questions about money, and he probably crushed, “ She told Carter.
According to Gennia’s mother, Angela, “crushing” were apparently no strangers to the couple’s relationship. An incident would have taken place between the pair in the weeks preceding the death of Gennia.
“A few weeks ago, she found something on his phone, and he got angry, and he broke his iPad and broke his phone. He tried to break his television,” Angela Grimes told Atlanta journalists.
