Newcastle United chases a third impressive first league victory on Monday evening when they would face a team from Leicester City who won only once in 2025.
It was a miserable return to the elite for the Foxes, with their only victory in the new year by arriving against Tottenham Hotspur in February. They lost eight on the rebound in all competitions and are already preparing for the second level next season.
The hosts are 19th in the table with a meager 17 points, 15 security drift with eight games to play.
Unlike Leicester, Newcastle Harbor hopes a grand final after having ended their expectations of 70 years for a large national trophy before the international break. They celebrated their return to action in the middle of the week with a 2-1 victory against Brentford, and the team of Eddie Howe will be confident to obtain three points here.
The Magpies are well in the mixture of the Champions League and will climb to the fifth with a victory. They hope to use this game as a chance to improve their goals difference, with Chelsea, fourth, currently seven goals better.
Here is 90 minutes Monday evening shock guide.

Ruud Van Nistelrooy excluded Harry Winks from the Leicester team for his mid -week defeat at Etihad, and the former Tottenham midfielder will probably not return to the fold on Monday evening. Winks’ relationship with the current manager can be broken beyond the repair.
The foxes do not have too many injury complaints. They were without Abdul Fatawu for much of the season due to an LCA tear, while Odsonne Edouard and Harry Souttar are also sidelined.
Jamie Vardy will run the host line while they are going to end their miserable race without a victory.
Leicester predicted programming against Newcastle (4-3-3): Hermansen; Thomas, faes, okoli. Justin; Ndidi, Soumare, Kristiansen; El Khannouss, Ayew; Vardy.
The Magpies go to Monday’s match with several injury problems. Alexander Isak took a supreme form this season and had been a doubt after taking a blow in the middle of the week, but he should be available.
Howe had been shy regarding the status of Isak, with Callum Wilson and William Osula waiting in the wings. Kieran Trippier is doubtful, but there could be a return to action for Anthony Gordon after having undergone a hip injury in international service.
Lewis Hall, Sven Botman and Jamaal Lascelles all came out.
Newcastle predicts programming against Leicester (4-3-3): Pope; Krafth, Schar, burn, Livramento; Guimaraes, Tonali, Willock; Murphy, Isak, Barnes.
The wheels fell in Leicester some time ago, and another acrimony wrapped the team before the match on Monday. There may be more in the Ruud / Winks debacle, but the treatment by the midfielder managers seems incredibly hard.
The Foxes are barely proud to play for the section, and it is difficult to consider them to claim a result on a soil at home against one side that has their star man available. Newcastle is ready for a solid finish until 2024/25, and they will pick up the points on Monday.
