“While I mourn the deep loss of my beloved husband David Siegel, who died on April 5 at the age of 89, my world was broken yesterday by the unexpected loss of my sister -in -law, Jessica Mallery, 43, in a scourge that we, as a family, know sadly too well – accidental drug page.
The Foundation was created after David’s daughter and Jackie, Victoria, died of an overdose in 2015.

“Jessica died after consuming cocaine with fentanyl,” she continued. “His death is another brutal reminder of the drug epidemic and the fentanyl crisis distressing our country – and the urgent need to fight against drug addiction in order to save lives. Our work in the voice of Victoria remains more critical than ever, and in her memory, we will continue to raise awareness and defend every day until this form of influenza is a distant memory in this country.”

A representative of Jackie did not immediately respond to the request for comments from Fox News Digital.
“My daughter loved her life,” Jackie told Fox News Digital of her late girl in 2019. “She was a bit like a hippie. She didn’t care about money, creative clothes or something like that. She always liked to make her own shirts. Acting because she seemed without drugs, but she was not.”

We want other parents to know that if it can happen to us, it can happen to them. They really need to open their eyes. Looking back, there were all kinds of warning panels that I wanted to know. Now we want to share them with other parents.
“Her wish dying in the form of a text was that she wanted me to find her newspaper where he was hidden and would publish it because she thought it would help save the lives of other teenagers. I just felt that I had to continue with her heritage. It was a very difficult thing for me because it is ultimately going out in the public eye.”
